Sean Penn Compares Mandatory Vaccines to Drivers' Licenses — Then James Woods Shows Up

CliffsNotes version: Sean Penn went Sean Penn and said something stupid. James Woods showed up and went James Woods on Sean Penn. Woods: 1, Penn: 0. Final score.

Hollywood leftist and fanboy of the late Venezuelan socialist dictator Hugo Chavez, Sean Penn “shockingly” blasted COVID-19 skeptics on Wednesday, while defending his demand that all cast and crew members working on the set of his latest project be vaccinated — and provide proof that they have been jabbed.

As reported by Fox News, Penn previously announced he would not return to the set of Starz’s Watergate series “Gaslit” until everyone working in Zone A” — the industry term for those close to filming — met his demands. Sean Penn being Sean Penn (Hollywood being Hollywood), the leftist actor then called on the rest of the country to do the same.

Penn explained his “logic” to Yahoo Entertainment why he is so adamant about his demands:

“My deep belief is that [being vaccinated is] no different than having everybody being able to drive 100 miles-per-hour in a car.

“This is one of those things that should be mandatory that we all get with the exception. The very few exceptions are those people who, for whatever reason, a medical condition might offset it.

“But I do think that business, all businesses, need to take the lead and to be not so timid in dealing with their collective bargaining agreement partners.”

So what about people who are hesitant or opposed to being vaccinated?

“There’s different kinds of hesitancies, right? So I don’t think that there’s much excuse to not know the information available anymore. Hence that’s why I think it should be mandatory at this stage.

“A resistance that’s based on a certain kind of siloed lack of imagination and understanding of anything that’s helpful to the human race… I’ve become very frustrated by that but I can only work within my own bounds and say for me that it should be mandatory.”

One minor question, Mr. Know-It-All. Do you mean people should know all the information available, or just the information that you and the rest of the Left cherry-pick that supports your position? I’ll wait.

Setting aside the fact that people who make a living pretending to be other people bizarrely believe that simply because they’re famous for pretending to be someone else, this somehow qualifies them to tell the rest of us how to live our lives, Penn’s beliefs related to COVID vaccination — sorry, anti-vaxxers — have become mainstream.

In the media, for example, the likes of Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, and other conservatives have not only been vaccinated; they support the vaccine in general — other than for people with underlying medical conditions. Where we part ways with Flip-Flop Fauci (AKA: The Keebler Elf), bumbling Biden, and Sean Penn is our strong opposition to the government — or anyone else — mandating what we put into our bodies. That’s a slippery slope that we must not go down.

Anyway, conservative actor and frequent denizen of Jack Dorsey’s Twitter gulag, James Woods also caught wind of Sean Penn’s latest “episode.” The Twitter Boss being the Twitter Boss, needed just six words to destroy Penn — without disagreeing about the importance of vaccination:

“Or proof of citizenship to vote?”

Boom. Turn out the lights. Thanks for playing.

Incidentally, Universal Content Productions is continuing to film “Gaslit,” its upcoming Watergate TV series for Starz despite Penn’s refusal to return to work until every crew member is vaccinated, TheWrap reported.

To be “fair and balanced,” as noted by Fox, Penn has been putting his money where his mouth is to raise awareness of the importance of vaccinations. His CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) nonprofit set up a vaccination center at Dodger Stadium, among other related efforts.

Anyway, maybe when Sean Penn says his prayers to the ghost of Hugo Chavez, tonight, he should ask for divine guidance.
